What is the Difference Between a 3J and 16C Collet Chuck?

Difference Between 3J and 16C Collet Chuck

On the other hand, the 3J Step Chucks are available in 2”-5” diameters and a maximum bore depth of 1/2”. They don’t need closing rings to work.
